Melbourne: For some, respect on the cricket field is earned through their stature, for others it's gained through their sheer weight of performances.For Behala Boy Sourav Ganguly though, who will turn a 100-Tests old at Melbourne, it's a mix of both, with the awe-inspiring story he's scripted for himself. Naturally, the accolades flow in:Rahul Dravid: I think to play for 12 years or 13 years to achieve 100 Test matches takes a lot out of you. And I think it's a tribute to his skill. It's a good time to sit and look back at some of the achievements that he has achieved over these last 10 years. It's just a Test match, but at the end of the day it's a milestone. It gives you a chance to reflect back and see some of the good things that's Sourav's done and he has done a few great things over these years. I would just like to wish him all the best and hope he has a great Test.
Sachin Tendulkar: He has never looked back since and to play 100 Test matches is a big moment. Very few guys have done that in India. So, congratulations to Sourav and we are all proud of your achievements.
Bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad: A great achievement as far as Sourav is concerned and as far as everybody is concerned for Indian cricket. Tremendous contribution from Sourav. I'm wishing him the very best on his 100th Test match, and many more Test matches and many more runs.
Wasim Jaffer: I Congratulate Sourav. To play your 100th Test is a big achievement. Only 7-8 Indians have managed to do so prior to him. So I wish him all the best.

Ricky Ponting: I think what happened with me in my 100th game I played was that I was quite nervous going in and it probably put a little bit more pressure on myself going in than any other game. So I'm sure Sourav will be feeling a little bit anxious tomorrow, a bit nervous as well. But, look, he's a class player and he has been for a long time. It hasn't surprised me the way he has played in the last 12 months.
